Perigord - Quercy, land of prehistory and middle-ages, of vineyards and gastronomy

From the Domaine de Gavaudun, preferably out of July and August, you will visit an area of outstanding historical and cultural interest : Perigord and Quercy for the prehistory and middle ages; Guyenne and Gascony for the middle ages. Nearby, you will find famous prehistoric caves such as Lascaux and Pech-Merle, as well as numerous medieval villages and castles.
You can also visit farms (specialties of foie gras and prunes) and of course vineyards (Bergerac, Monbazillac, Cahors, Buzet and Duras).

Located in the Southern Dordogne, with 25 cottages for a capacity of 120 beds, the Domaine de Gavaudun can accommodate any type of small or large meeting: family gathering, alumni reunion, wedding or birthday party, etc.
For a few days or a week, enjoy its exceptional facilities and take the opportunity to visit the unique surrounding area. Everyone is independent in his cottage, but our restaurant, the Auberge de Vezou, can also offer group meals.

The Domaine de Gavaudun is ideal for residential weddings (up to 120 to 150 guests staying on site), with its authentic old stone buildings and picturesque countryside views for photos. It has a beautiful barn for the reception or the possibility of placing a marquee for up to 200 people.
Our excellent restaurant, the Auberge de Vezou, can offer you any type of meal: simple, elaborate or themed but you can also hire a caterer.
